Off Off Duty Style - Beyonce

Beyonce, as one of the most photographed women in the world, does mighty well to keep up her appearances; you never see her without that flawless skin or those trademark sky high heels. The wife of Jay Z, as a constant jetsetter, does mightily well to actually put all that effort into her outfits even when she isn't working, so I decided to dedicate this blog to the wonderful wardrobe of Miss Knowles.

However - we aren't talking about this sort of 'Off Duty' Beyonce style >>>>

I'm talking about Beyonce when she thinks that no one is going to see her - namely when she's taking time out with her husband or watching him perform on stage, just like she did this Saturday at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Hackney - where the camera's caught her 'moshing' to her husband's hit 'N****s in Paris'. I like to call it 'Off Off Duty' Beyonce, who favours simple, but flattering clothes to keep her relaxed style.

How to get the 'OOD' look -

- mix block colours with prints; nothing works better for Beyonce's figure than drawing attention to   particular parts of her body, for example, in this picture to the left. Leopard print skinny trousers teamed with a plain black teeshirt keep things relaxed for the singer, whilst keeping her outfit up to date and edgy. A hat is obviously needed to keep incognito (although knowing Beyonce, it's probably there to as an accessory) and the A-List 'must haves' of the moment - coral perspex Louboutin stilettos confirm that she is the cream of the fashion crop.

.- Don't be afraid to grunge it up. Wearing her husband's leather and jersey hoodie at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Hackney, Beyonce still managed to look amazing by mixing glamorous hair and make up with very simple and boyish style. With a plain white t-shirt and wet look leggings and of course those all important Hunter wellies, Beyonce looked festival savvy and sexy as she danced to Jay's tracks right in front of the stage.

 - Stay true to your roots. This picture to the left epitomizes Beyonce's 'OOD' style - tonnes of accessories, but not overkill; frayed denim shorts and a chilled teeshirt show Beyonce in her most relaxed state. The best thing about this outfit is that, just by looking at it, we can totally tell that she chose it herself. This outfit premiered on the Pyramid Stage as she joined her husband onstage to sing Mr Hudson's part of 'Forever Young'.

- simple is sexy. In this photo to the right of Beyonce and Kim Kardashian (I know. But it's only because she's dating Kanye), Mrs Sean Carter reps leather trousers and a plain white t-shirt, and, if we can just see under those hands, no makeup. This is the best I've seen Beyonce look in a long time, the tee-shirt is flattering yet sexy, and the trousers sexy, but chic.

It's true that no-one does Off Duty style like Beyonce.
