About six or seven months ago, I saw Rihanna (who isn't usually one of my style icons) wearing a tulle ballet style skirt with a slogan t-shirt, see right. It was my favourite outfit of hers, with her cute little ankle socks and the blazer, which fits her so well. I looked around for a skirt like this for absolutely ages, and it was only around two months ago that I found one remotely like it in H&M. Granted, I only wore it once, and then pushed it to the back of my wardrobe never to be touched again. But then, when packing for my big move to the big city, I thought I'd put it in the suitcase for good measure, and, well, I'm wearing it again...I teamed it with a collared vest from TOPSHOP, to give it that more naive look. I sometimes love dressing like I felt I should have loved to as a little girl. Teamed with some block heeled Chelsea Boots when I leave the flat, I'm quite happy that I dug this skirt out of the cupboard.
