Christmas money is as much of a burden as it is a gift...

Merry Christmas everyone! Apologies for the serious lack of blogging, but my New Year's resolution is at least one post every two days on any new trends for the season or anything I've bought or worn that particularly pleases me. I would show you a photo of 'What I wore today', but I'm guessing that it would genuinely look like I've changed sex overnight. My work uniform is dire.

I hope everyone had a fabulous festive season and a very Happy New year, I'm guessing you all did, and hope you all got extremely drunk to celebrate it. But, here we are again, the post Christmas blues, and only the promise of new season's fashions and the siren call of the half price sales can cheer us up. That's what I found anyway.

I spent a ridiculous amount of money this week. Of course, I had Christmas money to blow and like every self respecting fashion fan I had to spend it straight away (I'd planned out what I was wanting to buy even before I had even got the moolah).

Here's the pick of the list of what I bought, with pictures of how I wore them to follow in the next few days.

I bought a furry scarf type gilet from Topshop, brown faux fur. I teamed it with black leather shorts, a blazer and a white jersey t-shirt. The baggier the shorts the better, and teamed with thick heeled ankle boots give a lovely and cosy winter look.

I also bought a leather spiked collar made from recyled vintage clothing from Rokit, for £25 it was a steal and I'll be wearing it with a white silk blouse and heavy beige midi skirt. A black biker finishes the look off perfectly.

Although this post has been very brief, I'm sticking to my resolutions and I'll update with photos in a few days.

Happy New Year, blogspotters!
Jessie x
