Today, I went for a few drinks with my friends in town. I was late getting ready, as usual so tried to throw on the first thing I could find. I remember that I'd seen my new style icon, Miranda Kerr sporting leather shorts with a baggy top - very 'New Model Mother' - so I found my comfiest shirt and wore it with leather shorts and heels for a cool/casual mix. The heels are new, blue suede wedges with gold detailing and a v plunge - theyre painful, but for the look and price, it's worth a few weeks of stretching them for comfort.

The unmistakable sixties vibe of the flicked eyeliner also works well for casual nights out, so for best results I swear by Bobbi Brown long wear gel eyeliner, and have down for about four years.
