They were bright, bold, daring, and most of all they were making a statement in front of everyone else who admired their panache. I'm talking about the VERY stylish visitors who flocked to Somerset House this week for LFW. Here's some of my favourite looks from the Street, and in particular, Menswear Day:
These boys were doing it Urban Gentlemen style, making a statement with accessories and bright colours.
Simply here to photograph, you have to admire this guy's style. Nice and casual whilst still kept edgy with scarf, glasses and coloured jeans - this look is for the less daring of you young men out there
One of my favourite looks of the day - a real dapper gent with a quirky twist of red jeans and truly fantastic hair. A+ for effort.
Now these boys (above and below) have to have been my favourite looks of the entire fashion week. Check out the metal veil on the right - the looks are both dark, cool and extremely fashion forward. Perhaps it was because the guy on the left is wearing Christopher Kane - my favourite of all British and International designers - but honestly I thought that these two young men showcased the ultimate in British Edgy Cool.b
Multicoloured hair adds a different dimension to any outfit - this is just an example of the many hair colours we spotted at Somerset House.
Mixing brights with darks is a great way to capture this season's trend without going overboard. Take this lady, for example. Those gorgeous shoes and very demure skirt mix perfectly with an edgier top half - christened perfectly with this amazing turquoise bag (shown closer below). Take note for how to pull of this season's brightest trend.
It's all about accessories - flying the flag for British Style as this gentlemen shows.
I hope you all had an amazing time either being at, or watching LFW. Until next season!
Jessie x
